Our TAB service areas cover metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia. Routine field work is dispatched out of our Atlanta operations base; statewide projects in Georgia are handled on a case-by-case basis with the schedule and travel built into the proposal.
Primary service area — metro Atlanta
We routinely cover Atlanta, Buckhead, Midtown, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Marietta, Smyrna, Decatur, Johns Creek, Duluth, Kennesaw, and the GA-400 and I-285 corridors. Crews typically mobilize within two business days of a confirmed schedule.
Extended service area — Georgia
For projects in Athens, Columbus, Augusta, Macon, Savannah, and the broader Georgia market, we quote based on travel and field schedule. Multi-day projects typically include lodging-adjusted pricing.
How we schedule field work
Most projects are scheduled at the time of proposal acceptance. Closeout-driven work is sequenced around mechanical start-up and the GC’s final inspection date. Occupied-building work is typically scheduled night and weekend to minimize tenant disruption.
Our service areas — metro Atlanta and the I-285 perimeter
First, our primary service areas cover the I-285 perimeter and the urban core — Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta. Specifically, same-day or next-day mobilization on most projects inside the perimeter. Furthermore, our crew vehicles are equipped for high-rise access and after-hours occupied-building work.
Extended service areas across Georgia
Then, our extended service areas cover all of Georgia — Macon, Columbus, Savannah, Augusta, Athens, and every secondary metro. Additionally, multi-asset property-management portfolios outside metro Atlanta benefit from our recurring-PM service areas program with quarterly site visits and annual re-balances.
How we deploy across our service areas
First, our crews deploy from a metro Atlanta home base across all service areas in Georgia. Specifically, mobilization within the I-285 perimeter typically lands next business day; outer metro service areas mobilize within 48 hours; greater Georgia service areas within the week. Furthermore, our recurring-PM service areas program guarantees same-week response on warranty calls. Therefore, owners with multi-site portfolios in our service areas get the same response time on every asset.
What our service areas program means for owners
First, owners with assets across multiple service areas benefit from consolidated proposal pricing. Specifically, the service areas program covers same-day-rate response on warranty calls, annual re-balance on a fixed schedule, and one master agreement covering every site. Furthermore, the service areas program eliminates per-asset procurement overhead — owners deal with one TAB firm across every property.

Why metro Atlanta TAB is its own thing
Atlanta’s commercial stock is unusually varied — pre-war warehouses in the Westside that someone turned into Class A office, brand-new pharma R&D buildings in Alpharetta, K-12 schools that haven’t had their air rebalanced since 1998, and hospitals that run six wings simultaneously and never close.
The work changes a lot depending on what you’re walking into. A Buckhead high-rise has the AHUs in a penthouse mechanical room and shares risers across forty tenants. A medical office in Sandy Springs has its own RTUs on the roof and twenty exam rooms with strict pressure requirements. Same trade, different problem.
What’s consistent in this region: humidity. Atlanta gets humid enough that latent loads matter a lot more than they do in dry climates. If your air is balanced for sensible cooling but the latent side is starving the building, your tenants are uncomfortable even when the thermostat says they shouldn’t be. We watch for that.
What “service area” actually means for us
We’re based north of the city. Drive time is real and we factor it into pricing, but we don’t add a per-mile travel fee inside the metro perimeter. Anything inside the I-285 ring, inside the Perimeter, or up the GA-400 corridor through Forsyth — that’s all in the normal rate.
Past the metro we charge for travel only if the project is small enough that the drive eats the margin. For anything over a couple of days on site the travel becomes a rounding error, so we don’t bother breaking it out separately.
If you’re in Athens, Macon, Augusta, Columbus, or anywhere else in Georgia and the project is significant enough to justify it, we’ll come. We’ve worked statewide projects. Just call and ask.
Don’t see your city?
We routinely work projects across the entire 12-county metro Atlanta region and selected statewide work in Georgia. Tell us about your project and we’ll confirm scope, timing and pricing within one business day.
